The objectives of the position are research, development of products and solutions, and technical assistance in the field of construction and infrastructure markets aiming on technical and economic improvement of ArcelorMittal products, especially considering long products, and to enhance their contribution to ArcelorMittal’s market growth.

With that position, you will have the responsibility to manage R&D projects in the field of application of AI to construction, linked to development of new products/solutions and new tools/applications for long products, modelling and optimization. You will maintain awareness about the external competency and competition.

Your main activities will be to:

• Contribute to the construction and infrastructure market development via innovative concepts, products and solutions by developing, conducting, and evaluating new approaches to meet projects’ objectives faster and more efficiently.
• Follow latest developments in AI applied to construction, initiate ideas and projects in R&D in this field.
• Disseminate research results through publications, conferences, contribute to development of patents.
• Represent ArcelorMittal interest in Norms, Standards and Technical Committees.
