PROJECT SUMMARY

The Behavioural Insights Centre of Excellence in SUSS is seeking a qualified research executive to support the study of “Development and Validation of a Platform Worker Occupational Well-being Indicator Tool”. The approach to this project will be through interviews, and surveys. The intent of the project is to develop and validate an indicator tool for platform workers to measure their occupational well-being. The project is scheduled to run for one year.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Educational Psychology, Psychology)
  • Have experience in independent social science research
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team
  • Have good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Oversee the general management and administration of the project (e.g., organise meetings, recording meeting minutes),
  • Manage project timeline and ensure project milestones/ deliverables are met,
  • Perform literature reviews,
  • Assist with designing and conducting of qualitative and quantitative research tasks (e.g., interviews, surveys), and perform data processing and analysis tasks,
  • Maintain related documentation of project, and management of tokens for respondents,
  • Assist in procurement processes (e.g., purchase of tokens for focus group participants), and
  • Contribute to development and writing of report.
