The University of Luxembourg is inviting applications for a Research Facilitator (40h/week-permanent contract) to assist the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) with the coordination, management, and development of the research activities, the faculty seeks remarkable communicators, multitask-oriented, with a creative, proactive, and practical approach to problem solutions and a service-oriented mindset.

The Department of Life Sciences and Medicine (DLSM) within FSTM is dedicated to excellence in research and education in Life Sciences, Medicine, and Nursing. Its research activities integrate basic and translational approaches, as well as wet lab and computational methods to address critical questions in human health and disease, particularly cancer biology.
Responsibilities:
The Research Facilitator (RF) will strengthen the team of research facilitators at FSTM and will work closely with one existing RF to support primarily the PI’s in newly established research groups in the medicine and nursing areas.
Activities/Tasks:
- to help the Faculty’s researchers find, apply for, receive, and manage research funding (e.g. EU and FNR; funding process support, negotiations, budgets), including support for financial project reporting and contributing to solve IPR issues
- to support the Faculty’s research activities and dissemination in academia and society
- to participate at meetings, info days, and other events
- to safeguard internal communication and cooperation within the Faculty and the University administration regarding all research-related questions
