Description:
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop IoT prototype with efficient and lightweight machine learning algorithms
- Implement and test the applications using IoT prototypes.
- Publish several papers in top journals.
- Write proposals for further development.
- Mentor students
Job Requirements:
- A Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in structural condition assessment.
- Excellent programming skills for one of the languages, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- A good record of referred journal publications or conference presentations.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in proposal writing is a plus.
