Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Applicants are invited for the role of Research Fellow (2 days a week/0.4 FTE) with the Cork Centre for Cystic Fibrosis (3CF) and Clinical Research Facility -UCC (CRF-UCC).
Cystic fibrosis is a chronic life limiting genetic condition that effects 1,300 people in Ireland. The adult CF centre in Cork University Hospital is the second largest CF centre in Ireland and works closely with the national Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland. Collecting independent data for national clinical registries is integral to understanding conditions at a national level, while simultaneously supporting and enhancing research by providing access to large anonymised datasets. The successful candidate will work closely with the adult cystic fibrosis multidisciplinary team - under the supervision of Professor Barry Plant, and the Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland to deliver project outputs in the predefined timeline.
Project Title: Cystic Fibrosis Registry of Ireland: Medical Data Acquisition, Management, and Digital Health Advancements.
