Research Fellow (Electrochemistry)

A postdoctoral research scholar position is available at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The main role is to design and fabricate novel flexible energy storage device and sensing devices. Potential candidates should be able to independently conduct research with strong self-motivation and exploration spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Materials synthesis, device design, fabrication, and materials characterization for flexible energy storage devices and sensing devices.
• Perform physical/electrical characterization and data analysis
• Extensive literature review on assigned problems and propose solutions
• Involve in hands-on process development
• Prepare progress reports and involve in project meetings
• Present research outcomes in technical review meetings
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences .
• Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students, fostering an environment of learning and innovation within the project team.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should hold a Ph.D. Degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics, Mechanicial Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in electrochemistry, flexible electronic devices and energy devices is highly preferred.
• Capable of design and assemble of device prototypes.
• A proven track record of publications in top-tier scientific journals.
• A strong written and oral command of the English language
• Commitment to scientific research
