WORKING AT THE UNIVERSITY – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn’t have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Research: Undertake surveys, interviews, and analysis of certification documentation to identify implemented practices for achieving certification and the impact this has had on forest management practices.
- Investigate Driving Factors and Impacts: Determine motivations for pursuing certification, evaluate consumer understanding, and assess certification’s influence on organisational reputation and practices.
- Foster Collaborative Partnerships: Engage with certification schemes, professional bodies, industry partners, and stakeholders to establish research objectives and foster collaborative relationships.
- Contribute to Academic Excellence: Publish findings, present at conferences/forums, and assist in supervising and training students.
