The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) is a world-leading school in research and teaching on sustainability transformations. The Institute for Sustainable Resources is one of four institutes within BSEER, with a mission to generate knowledge in the globally sustainable use of natural resources and train the future leaders in the field.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is funded by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) as part of its Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE). A key workstream of the ESCoE programme is the improved measurement and presentation of natural capital, both in extended national accounts and in other published economic accounts. The focus of this post is to contribute to ONS’s measurement of natural capital in both physical and monetary terms, and its communication to decision makers and other stakeholders.
The salary bracket for this post is £43,124 - £51,610 (including London Allowance) with appointments generally made at the lower end of the scale.
This post is available from January 2025 and is funded for 15 months in the first instance; further funding to support the post may become available.
