Description:

We are looking for an experienced Research Fellow to work on a NIHR PGfAR funded programme grant (NIHR206260): Personalised social and self-management support for better living with multiple long-term conditions in the community. In this programme of work, we aim to enhance health and well-being of people living with multiple long-term conditions (MLTC-M) by supporting social and self-management. We will design, evaluate, and implement a personalised multisectoral intervention called CO-ACTION employing a variety of mix methods and approaches.
One position is available for a Research Fellow at the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research, The University of Manchester. The spine point awarded will depend on previous experience. The successful applicant will work with Professors Tom Blakeman and Peter Bower in conjunction with co-investigators at the Universities of Southampton, Plymouth and Oxford.
Candidates should have a PhD and demonstrate extensive experience in applied health research projects. Experience of mixed methods research and of randomised trials of initiatives in primary care and the community would be an advantage.
