ABOUT US
Set within UCL’s Faculty of The Built Environment, The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) is comprised of four world-class Institutes including the UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE). IEDE pursues a deeper understanding of the interactions between the built environment and health, human wellbeing, productivity, energy use and climate change.
Responsibilities:
UCL IEDE seeks to appoint a Research Fellow to work closely with other partners in the UKRI-funded REGENYSYS project (REGENYSYS: Designing regenerative regional living systems - enabling a circular bioeconomy of wellbeing in the Thames Estuary) to support and enhance the delivery of this transdisciplinary research project. REGENYSYS aims to use a systems approach to design the enabling ecosystem for a circular bioeconomy of wellbeing in the Thames Estuary, The successful candidate will be most involved and responsible for WP2 (’Listening and Understanding the System’). WP2 will explore opportunities for system change with key stakeholders and decision makers, focusing on the sub-systems that have potential for sustainable transition in the area. This post is available from 01 April 2025 and is funded for 36 months in the first instance; further funding to support the post may become available.
