POSITION SUMMARY
Applications are invited for the role of Research Fellow in the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
To meet the challenge of identifying safe and effective staffing and in response to issues highlighted in recently published reports, the Department of Health published the Framework for Safe Nurse Staffing and Skill Mix in General and Specialist Medical and Surgical Care Settings in Adult Hospitals in Ireland (Department of Health 2018) and the Framework for Safe Nurse Staffing and Skill Mix in Adult Emergency Care Settings in Ireland (Department of Health 2022). The School of Nursing and Midwifery is currently recruiting a Research Fellow to work on this study. The successful candidate will work on the Programme of Research for Safe Nurse Staffing – Extension. The role will involve leading a team of researchers, working closely with the Principal Investigator(s), in the delivery of project outputs as per pre-defined timelines. The research is being undertaken nationally so the candidate should be willing to travel.

Post Duration: 12 Months
Salary: €63,325 - €69,002 p.a. (IUA Research Fellow Scale)
