  • Total Remuneration:
  • Research Fellow – $130,270 to $153,255 pa (including salary of $110,080 to $129,503 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Senior Research Fellow – $157,855 to $180,372 pa (including salary of $133,390 to $152,417 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team at the Centre for Regional Economies and Supply Chain Research (CRESC), in Workforce and Regional Development. CRESC enhances economic systems, workforce development, and supply chains in regional areas through collaboration with industry, government, and community partners. Our research spans international activities and focuses on regional economies, supply chains, and workforce development.
In this role, you will conduct independent and collaborative research, produce conference papers and publications, and undertake administrative functions. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external clients and maintaining positive relationships while having the opportunity to engage in professional activities, attend conferences, and supervise staff involved in research projects.

RESEARCH FELLOW - POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a relevant doctoral qualification or equivalent qualifications or research experience relevant to the role.
  • Relevant research experience which has resulted in publications or professional or technical contributions which give evidence of research ability.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to undertake comprehensive investigative research work, demonstrating expertise and skill in research methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in research areas of research strength and a willingness to engage in sourcing and obtaining external grants and contracts.

SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW - POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold doctoral qualification/s or equivalent accreditation and relevant research experience.
  • Demonstrated strong record of publications, conference papers, reports and/or professional and/or technical contributions in the relevant discipline area.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to undertake comprehensive investigative research work, demonstrating expertise and skill in research methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in research areas of research strength and a willingness to engage in sourcing and obtaining external grants and contracts.
