Research Fellow (Thermal Catalysts Design)

The Nanyang Technological University School of Materials Science and Engineering (NTU MSE) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join us as Research Fellow (RF).

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesize catalysts used for high temperature/pressure gas-phase reactions
• Develop complex operando measurement platforms for catalytic reaction
• Explore novel reaction route for target products
• Develop high-throughput reactors to screen catalysts for target reactions
• Helping the PI with supervising students, TA task etc.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or any relevant science and engineering disciplines
• Experience in materials synthesis/characterizations, gas-phase catalysis and/or theoretical calculations
• A strong track record of research ability and demonstrated contribution to research
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated independent scientist and a team player
