The Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health is part of the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care and is co-led by Professor Greta Rait and Professor Kate Walters.
The Department’s strategic aim is to deliver high-quality teaching in community-based primary care and public health and to undertake a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas which are of priority to the health of the public.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The National Institute for Health and Care Research Research Support Service hub delivered by Imperial College London, University College London, Queen Mary College London and King’s College London (NIHR RSS ICL and Partners) provides researchers with access to support, advice and expertise in the development and delivery of clinical and applied health and care research.
This post provides a unique opportunity for a health researcher to work within the cross-institutional RSS team providing expertise in health research design, and advice, to support clinicians, health and social care professionals and academics to develop research grant and fellowship applications for applied health and social care funding.
The post-holder will provide research design and methodological advice and support, advice on Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement, and training and resource development tailored to the needs of health and social care researchers.
