The Clinical Directorate are delighted to be recruiting a Research & Innovation Support Officer (Non Clinical) The position will support the management of R&I projects and trials within the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST).
The post holder will be directly accountable to the Assistant Director of Research & Innovation and will work closely with R&I paramedics. They will be expected to liaise with other staff within the Trust and externally with R&I teams, HCRW, Clinical Trials Units, Universities, hospitals and industry partners.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and changing environment, providing Research & Innovation Support to major initiatives across the directorate and wider organisation.
Maintain high standards of R&I governance and coordinate and contribute to supporting the management of R&I projects and trials within the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST).
Operate efficiently and effectively to smoothly co-ordinate the day-to-day project management arrangements and functioning of projects and trials with Chief and Principal Investigators (C/PIs).
Provide excellent administrative support within the R&I department.
Be a point of contact for a wide range of enquiries relating to R&I within the Trust.
The transition of R&I projects from their development through to approvals and delivery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
