Are you a Bachelor’s or Master’s student who is interested in conducting research in an industrial setting? Apply for an internship at Neogene Therapeutics!
Pushing the frontier of solid cancer therapy, Neogene Therapeutics is a global, preclinical stage biotechnology company built on the premise of innovation and novel paradigm-changing science. Using tumor mutation profiles to engineer fully individualized T cell therapies, Neogene is bringing new hope to address the current limitations of treatments available today.

This requires optimizing and translating research protocols into clinical grade compliant procedures.
In this internship, you will learn about immunology principles and assays, gain experience with cell culturing, T cell gene editing tools (e.g. CRISPR-Cas9), bioprocess development, cGMP manufacturing and flow cytometry. You will report to a Scientist and be mentored by Research Associates in the PD group to experience first-hand what the day-to-day life of an industry researcher is.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related scientific discipline.
  • You have a interest in immunology or immunotherapy.
  • Previous experience with cell culture and flow cytometry is preferred.
  • You will have the chance to improve your organizational and record keeping skills.
  • You will learn the interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary for a very collaborative environment.
