The School of Nursing is looking for someone to work with the Principal Investigator (PI) to interview potential participants, collect data, manage data, prepare the dataset, and compile the dataset for further analysis. The staff person is expected to meet with the team weekly to discuss the progress of the data collection, data management, and analysis. The staff person will assist the team with submitting the study report to the funder and preparing for publications and conference abstracts. Lastly, the staff member should be flexible to work with team members from the American Cancer Society and within the Emory community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of administrative support, customer service or other relevant experience.
- Data entry experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Microsoft Office use
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.

Responsibilities:
- Identifies, contacts, corresponds with and interviews research study participants, either in person, in a clinical setting, at a subject’s residence or by telephone to obtain data for an assigned research project.
- Collects, codes and enters study information into database and may assist in data compilation.
- Edits completed interview questionnaires for completeness, legibility and accuracy.
- Obtains missing or questionable data.
- Maintains complete and accurate records and files pertaining to one or more research studies.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
