REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Certification specializing in Research Professional preferred.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred.
• Research Professional preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Manage the daily operations of a clinical research department including clinical trials.

• Conduct hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating of staff.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards of practice and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
• Monitor the departmental budgets to ensure availability and allocation of resources for clinical trials.
• Oversee clinical trials through all stages.
