Description:
The role
This role is responsible for providing support to researchers navigating the research and clinical trial landscape coordinating the translation of clinical research into impactful and sustainable practice undertaken at the rural, regional and remote sites.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for and facilitate the translation of innovative health research to clinical application through collaborative stakeholder relationships, with a particular focus on regional and rural locations.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and synergistic partnerships with regional rural and remote Hospital and Health Services, health providers, universities, research institutes, clinical researchers, commercial sponsors, and the broader clinical trials community.
- Be the conduit/interface for collaborative clinical research between universities, industry, and regional, rural and remote HHSs.
- Provide advice and support to regional research workforce on the conduct of research including grant writing, protocol development, ethics applications and research governance.
