SALARY: £45,954 - £51,060

HOURS: Full-Time
DURATION: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is On-Site, which involves spending five days per week in the research room at our London office.
About the opportunity
We’re seeking a Research Operations front of house who can help to promote the capabilities of Research Operations, across the business. Our team is part of Experience Design (XD), within Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX). It’s a dynamic environment where attention to detail, customer focus, and balancing multiple priorities are key.

We constantly look to improve and evolve the experience and support we provide, to ensure teams can build, design, and develop the best experiences for our customers.
Our services are in high demand, supporting teams who are conducting vital end-to-end research and customer testing. In this unique position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our in-house research capability, including our high-spec research studio, (The Research Rooms), located off Oxford Street, London! You’ll support the team by being the initial point of contact for participants and maintain the facilities. You’ll work with an established team, numerous projects, partners and suppliers to ensure that customer service is at the forefront every time.

As a Research Operations Assistant Manager, you’ll have the following accountabilities:

  • Acting as a customer liaison and look after the physical London research facility 5 days a week
  • Supporting the day-to-day studios and technology needs of internal research teams
  • Ensuring we provide a safe space for customers, partners and third parties participating in research
  • Troubleshooting issues with the AV and technology when they arise
  • Build written and visual content that encourages, educates, and trains researchers in how they can best use the research tools on offer to their advantage
  • Create and deliver communications that are clear and illuminating
  • Internal and third-party relationship management

What you’ll need

In this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • Knowledge of running physical facilities
  • An understanding of research recruitment projects, user research techniques and how best to support research teams both technically and operationally
  • Worked with partners across different projects in the business
  • Excellent Customer Service skills!
  • Project management: planning and communication skills to ensure timelines are met
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • A skill at making the complex simple – ability to translate into proposals, suggestions and easy to consume information
