Description:
As research OSP, to facilitate the set-up and coordination of research studies in line with the research SLA between ophthalmology and the R+I teams. Ensure completion of responsibilities within the required timescales and research study protocols. To work as an autonomous practitioner in undertaking ophthalmic imaging using a variety of techniques, for patients of all ages, ranging from children to the elderly and who have various communication abilities. To work within the Ophthalmology virtual clinic, utilising additional clinical skills to complete a full assessment in line with the clinical protocols/procedures Participate in the theoretical and clinical teaching of ophthalmic imaging to colleagues, students or other health professional visiting the department Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills required to undertake the role of ophthalmic science practitioner To participate in departmental audit projects Please familiarise yourself with the job description for this role for a full list of duties
