OVERVIEW:

Blue Halo has an opportunity available for Research Program Coordinator to join our Health and Performance Technologies Division. This full-time position will support the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB.
The Research Program Coordinator is responsible for effectively communicating research program status and maintaining collaboration between multiple programs and customers. The successful candidate will support program goals and coordinate with the team ensuring that efforts are contributing to the broader goals of each program, whether those are operational, programmatic, or mission driven. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or 5 years of government contracting experience highly preferred
  • A vast understanding of government R&D programs
  • Experience in Program Coordination or Program Management
  • Demonstrated experience working independently, with collaborating and coordinating teams across multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate, and summarize. Sound ability to communicate with the customer at all levels.
  • A record of success in understanding and working with DoD programs
  • Demonstrated excellence with Microsoft 365 and related programs
  • Some coding or automation experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with program leadership, teams, and customers to ensure that all parties are aligned across the entirety of the research program
  • Develop custom products for project execution to ensure the research program meets customer cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Assist in development of proposals in support of additional work scope
  • Assist development of the program architecture and top-level plans for a program
  • Schedule and facilitate programmatic/management interchange meetings with government customers, annotating any actions or future agenda items that are identified to the designated responsible person.
  • Report programmatic status and performance metrics to program leadership team and customers by presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to inform current and future execution strategies.
  • Mapping and documenting processes related to program execution, identifying best practices, pinpointing challenges, recommending solutions, and facilitating decision-making in partnership management.
  • Development of advanced tracking tools to automate product generation and customer distribution is preferred.
