Description:

NATURE AND SCOPE

The incumbent must be able to function independently, as well as be able to assist a team of people in planning, organizing, and completing a number of tasks that must be accomplished by a specific date. Participates in event planning and physical setup.
This position faces challenges of maintaining positive relationships with all involved parties, complying with state and federal regulations, and working cooperatively with other departments and external partners to achieve project goals. High standards of professionalism and performance are essential. Works with Program Manager in resolving barriers, risks, and issues.
The incumbent must be able to multi-task and take general directions from members of the Clinical Research Department and other Renown Staff as required. Projects may be established for a specific timepoint or become a reoccurring task within the scope of this role.
This position has contact with department heads, directors, managers, supervisors, and staff to discuss projects, which impact their areas. The incumbent works closely with the other department staff members to ensure coordination of tasks in support of the strategic vision for the Clinical Research Department.
This position does not provide patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

DESCRIPTION

Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business or related field is required or equivalent years of project coordinator/manager experience.
Experience:
One to two (1-2) years of administrative/project management.
License(s):
None
Certification(s):
PMP or equivalent preferred.
Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible to facilitate processes, assist, coordinate and bring projects to completion on time, on budget, and in alignment of goals for the Clinical Research Department.
The incumbent is responsible to assist in new project development, design, and implementation to ensure timely delivery of projects. The incumbent will provide input to improve current processes as well. This position researches and develops plans for assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
