Description:

The Department of Culture and Languages is seeking a part time project manager for the research project “From antiquity to community: rethinking classical heritage through citizen humanities” (AntCom) in the period 01.01.25 – 31.12.26 (18,5 hours/ week).

As a project manager you will:

  • coordinate activities between the different international partners in the project
  • organize events and meetings
  • manage budget and expenses in cooperation with the department’s finance team
  • work closely with Prof. Aglae Pizzone (Principal Investigator) on to ensure the timely execution of milestones and deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Experience and proven track record in dealing with large European projects in all their aspects: day to day management, scheduling, events-organization, economy.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Horizon Europe Framework and its requirements.
  • Experience and good track record in liaising with foreign institutions and academic cultures.
  • Excellent communication skills and liaison abilities, including fluency in Danish, English and preferably Italian.
  • Experience in managing and handling social media outlets.
  • Knowledge and documented experience in using managing tools (e.g. Slack, Excel).
  • As a minimum you hold a master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred), ideally within Classical Studies.
