Description:

CAN YOU PROVIDE A HIGH-QUALITY ADMINISTRATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE? IF YOU HAVE THE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE THEN READ ON, AS WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

You will support activities and events relating to researcher development and provide secretarial support to research-related University working groups. You will help the Research Services Team to provide operational support with particular regard for activities designed to support researcher development at the University including support for our workshop programme and our internal funding schemes. In order to succeed in this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
  • A good understanding of the need for customer service and delivering a proactive service
  • The ability to communicate complex procedures or difficult information in a clear, sensitive and diplomatic manner
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective administration systems
  • Experience of planning and prioritising a range of work activities

This post is full-time (37 hours per week), on a permanent basis, however we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.
