Description:

The post holder will be a member of the R&D research team and be responsible for supporting the Director of R&D, the R&D Manager, Research Nurses and other research staff.
The role will require the post holder to liaise with all Research Staff, Clinicians, health professionals and clerical staff across the trust, and be responsible for providing data management and administrative support, as needed for clinical trials.
We are looking for someone with research experience to join our team and share new ideas and contribute to the current research plan here at the ROH.
To supply data as required to the Senior Research Nurse regarding progress of clinical trials.
To be responsible for monitoring trial progression, recruitment figures and pathway status of study participants, and to highlight any problems to the study team, lead research nurse and PI.
To collect and collate data for the purpose of creating reports for the attention of the PI and the study team.
To schedule and lead monthly meetings between the study team, where study activity can be reviewed.
To attend study management meetings where relevant with the sponsor, or staff members involved in the study.
To review external trial protocols to assess feasibility from a trial management point of view, and to identify resource implications for the site.
To be the main contact for Clinical Trial Units regarding queries and for checking and resolving queries
