POSITION SUMMARY

INFANT Research Centre is now accepting applications for an enthusiastic and committed part time Research Support Officer with psychology or social science background to work within the team based at the INFANT Research Centre. The role will include support for projects in areas such as paediatric atopic dermatitis, early detection of cerebral palsy and neonatal brain injury. The role will involve the set up and administration of investigation site files, the oversight of data collection and management, the monitoring and reporting of progress, and the co-ordination and scheduling of activities. The role will also include the provision of parental telehealth support.
The INFANT Research Centre at University College Cork (UCC) is dedicated to maternal and child health research. The overarching vision of INFANT is to advance maternal and child health translational research and to place Ireland to the forefront of this field. INFANT is focused on delivering scientific excellence and impact through a range of activities in academic, translational and commercial areas. The INFANT team is a diverse group of clinicians and scientists who are supported by selected industry partners, international collaborators and business and regulatory advisors. The Centre is funded by a range of national and international funding agencies, EU, industry and philanthropy. INFANT has a well-established Clinical Trials Platform which is underpinned by ISO 9001:2015 accredited Quality Management System.

Post Duration: 10.5 Months
Salary: €45,500 gross per annum pro rata - 0.4 FTE
