Responsibilities:
The Bartlett Tree Experts Research Laboratory in Reading, UK is hiring a full time Research Technician to engage in plant physiology, pathology, entomology, and horticulture research trials.
The applied research conducted at the lab drives the management of abiotic and biotic disorders carried out by Bartlett Tree Experts arborists and plant health care specialists on residential and commercial properties.
Qualifications:
We are looking for practical and pragmatic candidates that enjoy connecting applied research to real world applications and have good problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A full driver’s licence.
• PA1 and PA6 qualifications.
• Knowledge of molecular techniques, and plant diagnostic skills - beneficial but not essential.
• Proficiencies in: Excel, statistics, and plant cultivation.
• Good communication skills.

Applications are welcomed from individuals with either a university-level biology background or industry experience in arboriculture/horticulture/plant health care.
