Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic, hard-working and enthusiastic individual for this Research Technician and Data Analyst position. The candidate will work in an interdisciplinary environment on a project aiming to characterise Correlates of Protection Against SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Disease in recently exposed household contacts (COPASID). This exciting project unites basic laboratory work with translational public health research
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Your role will be multi-faceted, including assisting in the management of all relevant samples in research biobanks within appropriate governance by the Human Tissue Authority; performing various assays including Olink proteomics, Nanostring nCounter, ELISA, MSD and RT-PCR; performing analyses associated with data generated using these techniques and support in the writing of research findings for reports and scientific papers.
