PROFILE
- You are an enthusiastic and accurate technician who enjoys working on translational research in a young and dynamic team.
- You have experience and affinity with cell culture and molecular biological techniques (western blotting, fluorescence microscopy, etc.).
- You are flexible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Research groups in our department develop and use human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models to study neural and cardiac disease-related changes. To facilitate and coordinate these activities, we are looking for a research technician with experience in iPSC culturing, differentiation protocols and assays.
- You will help and coordinate different research projects involving iPSC models, pioneer new assays, and use a variety of advanced microscopy, biochemistry and omics technologies.
- You will work closely with different researchers, technicians and group leaders within the department as well as the Amsterdam UMC working groups on iPSC usage
