Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Technician who has a passion for science to join our team at the Max Perutz Labs Vienna. The Karagöz lab combines cell biology, in vitro reconstitution to dissect cellular protein-quality control pathways. Currently, our team consists of a talented group of PhD students working on various protein quality control topics.

Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the ongoing projects in the lab
- General laboratory organization (e.g. overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining lab supplies)
- Testing and establishing reagents (e.g. molecular cloning, cell culture, generation of genome-edited stable mammalian cell lines)
- Recombinant protein expression and purification (i.e. bacteria and insect cells)
- Teamwork (supporting and training lab members)
- Active involvement in our team (e.g. attending group meetings, journal clubs, exchanging ideas
