Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join the Centre for Cardiovascular Science as a Research Technician, to support and deliver cardiology clinical studies within The Baker Lab. The post holder will provide molecular biology, tissue culture and advanced laboratory support to an on-going programme aimed at developing new therapies in cardiovascular complications.
This post is available for 30 months.
This post a fixed term contract with full-time hours (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Excellent technical skills in molecular and/or cell biology
- Previous laboratory management experience
- Excellent team work and interpersonal skills
- A keen willing to learn new skills
