JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Center for Cannabis and Natural Product Pharmaceutics, in Hershey, PA, is seeking to hire a Research Technologist - Life Sciences at the Professional level. This position will be primarily responsible for performing cell culture-based experiments including molecular cloning, receptor assays, cytotoxicity studies, and reporter assays. The tech will also be responsible for assisting with animal experiments, including drug delivery and tissue collections, assisting with ordering lab supplies, and routine lab work.
We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and accountable individual for this position. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, or related field. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred, although not essential.

This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.

  The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
  $34,800.00 - $50,500.00
