The Internet of Things (IoT) team at Ericsson Research, Finland, is looking for a student to work on a MSc Thesis project. In this role, you will get an opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice with mentorship from our forward-thinking professionals. You will be exposed to a global organization that develops groundbreaking technology that truly changes the world.
Together with the rest of the research team, you will be developing novel concepts, solutions, algorithms, and patents. Our team works with application protocols, standardization, interoperability, sustainability, and Generative AI in the context of IoT, and mobile networks.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background in Computer Science, Telecommunications or similar
• Significant part of courses associated with the degree (MSc) are accomplished
• Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Effective team player
• Good programming skills that enable implementing prototypes and demos

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (NOT STRICTLY REQUIRED):

• Knowledge of IoT protocols and data models
