The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining various transgenic mouse lines, performing intricate cardiac surgeries, isolating cardiomyocytes, and contributing to the scientific community through innovative research and publications. Responsibilities:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under minimal supervision:
- To set up and perform routine and established lab procedures in support of lab goals.
- To collect, enter and summarize data.
- To monitor results and report unusual outcomes.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes care of various transgenic mouse line.
- Performs mouse cardiac ischemia/reperfusion injury surgery.
- Isolates adult mouse ventricular cardiomyocytes.
- Writes papers on innovative methods of cardiac ischemia/reperfusion injury.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Hourly Salary Range $15.50 - $23.51
