The researcher will be expected to participate in carrying out the experimental procedures and collecting and organizing the data. Coordinates activities integral to a research project. Manages resources, personnel, laboratory equipment, scientific data, and safety protocols. Develops and implements tests, methods and procedures; reviews findings and provides recommendations relevant to the continuation and successful completion for projects; pathogenesis and potential therapies for neurodegenerative diseases (including DTR-NSG microglia projects), humanized mice generation, and dual reconstitution for co-infection of HIV and HCV. They will act as a liaison with collaborators and lab members and supervisor to ensure effective working relations as well as consistency and continuity through all phases of the project.

Bachelor’s degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3 years

IF ANY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a research laboratory setting.

REQUIRED ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High degree of technical skills and knowledge of laboratory science.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Master’s degree

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of cell biology techniques and the ability to analyze and interpret scientific and statistical data.
