Description:
The Hotel Arts Group is currently seeking an energetic and passionate guest service professional to join our Reservations Team for a full-time role at Hotel Arts Group! We are looking to fill the role with someone who embraces what it means to be an Artisan. This role is a full-time role with a fluctuating schedule between Monday and Saturday based on business needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous use of a hotel property management system, preferably Opera, is a requirement
- Proficient in use of a variety of software systems including online booking platforms and extranets, as well as Outlook and Excel
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Passionate about providing an exceptional guest service experience
- Attentive to detail
- Exceptional time management skills

Responsibilities:
- Accurately quote and input reservations received either directly by phone, email, fax, internally and rooming list, or indirectly by other channels
- Review transient reservations for accuracy in rate codes, billing, comments, deposits, traces, alerts, company profiles, and applicable complimentary services
- Assist front desk team in answering internal guest calls
- Manage the general mailbox and respond to all guests in a timely manner and file all correspondence
- Process deposits, cancellations, and no shows
- Build and maintain corporate rate codes and profiles
- Balance room inventory in high demand periods
- Work with all departments for the best possible solutions to any guest concerns
- Assist the Group Reservations Agent with duties as required
- Complete all additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
