Description:

Outpost is a Whistler-based vacation rental management company focused on innovation and providing fantastic service to our guests and owner partners. The vacation rental industry offers a fast-paced environment that keeps us on our toes. Outpost is growing and we need great people to join our team.
We are looking for a Reservations Agent who is motivated, fun, and smart.
As a Reservations Agent, you will be handling inquiries by potential guests looking to make a booking. These guests may reach out via email, chat, or by phone. You will need to understand Outpost’s inventory of properties and the Whistler area to help find the most suitable property for the guests needs. Once the search has been narrowed down you will assist guests in making the reservation. In addition, you will assist guests prior to their arrival to Whistler with any questions they my have about the property or concierge-type services. You will work closely with other members of the Guest Services Team, Revenue Management, and Owner Relations to ensure all the pieces are in place for our guests to make the most of their vacation in Whistler and Vacation Rental experience with Outpost.

Ideal candidate

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of the Whistler area is an asset.
  • Front desk/Guest Services experience in a hotel/property management is a plus.
  • Great time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Availability to work all day on weekends.
  • Enjoy negotiating and closing a deal.
  • Enjoy making people happy.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
