Job Description

We are currently seeking a Reservations Agent (Full time) to join our Reservations team at Sofitel Brisbane Central. Be the first point of contact for the Hotel’s reservation enquiries and ensure an exceptional level of luxury experience for our guests at all times. Create the Magnifique Moments that last!

  • Ensure the highest standards are upheld whilst answering calls for reservations, arriving guests and guests in-house
  • Reservations agents ensure all guests are greeted warmly, delivering a high conversion of reservations enquiries and maximum average room rate at all times
  • Maximize sales of rooms and facilities and at all times monitor quality of reservations, statistical information and inter-departmental communications
  • Work as a team to achieve set monthly KPIs
  • Take a positive problem solving approach with guest complaints and enquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Ensure a clear line of communication with other departments for special requests or other reservation-related matters.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated hotel experience preferably in Reservations or Front Office
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An enthusiastic approach, excellent attention to detail and superior customer service skills
  • Opera or strong PMS experience is required.
