The oceanside is looking for their next Reservations Agent to join their Reservations team. Surrounded by 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach, The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton helps you savor the stunning views, delicious dining options and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida
The ideal candidate has Front Office and/or Reservations experience, is adaptable, well organized, and has a passion for hospitality.
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8:30-5PM

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Reservations Coordinator, you would be responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Answers all transient and group reservations calls and e-mails in a friendly manner, using clear English communication. When processing e-mails or listening to callers, ensures a clear understanding of their inquiries and requests. Promptly provides accurate information regarding availability of accommodations and other requested information. Assists other departments such as Sales, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office with reservation related questions.
- Create and Manage Group Room Blocks, Build new Group SRPs in OnQ Rate and Inventory Management and GroupMax. Monitor group blocks, ensure cut off dates are met, monitor pick-up, process rooming lists.
- Work closely with hotel Sales Managers, Event Managers, Front Office Managers, Guests, Group Contacts and Travel Agents to ensure operating departments are informed of guest needs.
- Manage and communicate information regarding hotel occupancy, promotion, special reservation procedures, operational issues and special events
- Calculate, prepare and generate designated reports related to group and transient business production
- Attend weekly Group Pick-up Meeting.
- Create Group masters and update all systems with appropriate communication.
- Verify group resumes ensuring accuracy of billing, complimentary room night allocations, staff rate allocations, and all other front office related contractual concessions.
- Administrative duties including Email correspondence with internal and external clients, processing and filing contracts.
- Other duties as needed.
