We now have a fantastic new opportunity for Reservations Executive to join our team on a Full time basis and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible with hours
  • Experience with Opera preferable but not essential
  • Administration experience
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Strong leadership, time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail is a must

Responsibilities:

  • Manage telephone and email enquiries
  • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
  • Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
  • Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of properties facilities and processes.
  • To ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
  • Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate
  • To deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • To deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently
  • To adhere to all Company policies including but not limited to Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Cash Handling etc.
  • To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment
  • Use of onsite computer systems including Hotsoft, Availpro & ResDiary.
  • Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations
  • To attend hotel meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  • To ensure all business standards and reservations plan are followed in line with policies set out.
  • To work as part of a team
