Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Registered as Resident Technical Officer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
  • 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on drainage, sewage, road works, etc
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • To provide quality and compliance supervision for the construction of Civil works, such as drainage, roads, sewage works in accordance with the Project specifications and drawings
  • Assist Superintending Officer in daily close supervision and coordination duties
  • Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
  • Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
  • Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
  • Implement quality assurance plan in a well-coordinated manner
  • Coordinate with Contractors, Stakeholders, Authorities, Interfacing Contractors and the like on execution of works
  • Assist the Engineer(s) in supervision, inspection and quality control of construction work on site ensuring it is carried out to the approved drawings and specifications
  • Monitor and report on the progress of works as per contractor’s approved program
  • Handle contractors’ queries, reports and verify claims
