About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and creative Residential Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team at Bowgreave Rise. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of individual and group activities that promote independence, well-being, and social engagement among our residents. Your efforts will help create a vibrant and supportive atmosphere where residents can thrive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote Independence and Well-Being: Lead and motivate residents in activities that help maintain their social skills and independence, whether on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
- Create a Supportive Atmosphere: Assist in nurturing an environment where residents can achieve maximum independence, well-being, and engagement.
- Offsite: Plan and accompany residents on outings, trips, and community engagements
- Record Keeping: Contribute to maintaining accurate records and reports, including individual support plans and activity logs.
- Training and Development: Attend relevant training courses as agreed with the Registered Care Manager to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Supervise Volunteers: Assist the Registered Care Manager by supervising students and volunteers, ensuring they contribute positively to the residents’ experience.
- Team Participation: Attend review meetings and participate in team meetings to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with Domestic Staff: Work with domestic staff to meet the personal needs of residents as required.
