BlueStone Properties Inc. has been an award-winning industry leader in property management, construction, and development for three generations. We are growing and currently seeking a full-time skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to join our talented team.

SUMMARY

This is a full-time position that will perform a variety of general maintenance and repairs within the London, Ontario residential portfolio. Our growing residential portfolio currently consists of 13 buildings, with over 1200 units.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential setting
• Proficient with computer and smartphone
• Valid G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Criminal background check required (paid by BlueStone)
• Courteous manners with the public
• Excellent time management
• Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Repair and maintain occupied and vacant units
• Repair and maintain residential building systems (boilers, HVAC, generators, minor plumbing and electrical, life safety)
• Work collaboratively with the building management team to execute suite turnovers and make readys
• Assist with site mobilization and demobilization and clean up with respect to work orders and unit turnovers
• Operate hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation on weekends and evenings (approx. 1 week on call every 7 weeks)
