Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our Residential Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance duties, ensuring our properties are well-maintained and our residents are satisfied.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular inspection of building mechanical rooms and weekly roof inspections.
- Performing repairs on building mechanical systems, minor electrical, plumbing, and aesthetic features.
- Installation and repair of various flooring materials, bathrooms, kitchens, cabinetry, doors, locks, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Window and window screen repairs.
- Receiving deliveries pertaining to maintenance and supplies.
- 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies.
- Completion of written Work Orders for tenant apartments and common areas.
- Assisting during Fire Alarms and learning procedures.
- Purchasing electrical and plumbing supplies as required.
- Following WHMS program – ensuring the Health and Safety of all.
- Reporting problems to the appropriate staff members immediately.
- Supervising external trades and contractor’s work.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Preparing turnover suites for new tenants.
- Overseeing all mechanical/electrical equipment at all Buildings.
- Overseeing all exterior/interior amenities as well as all public areas.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, excellent problem-solving skills, a strong commitment to safety, a reliable vehicle, and a valid Driver’s license. Professionalism and respect for staff and tenants are essential.
