About The Role:
Bosa Properties is looking for a Residential Operations Technician to join our team of skilled property management professionals. Reporting to the Operations Manager this individual will have a unique opportunity to work alongside the building management to provide a safe, customer focused experience to our residents. This position plays a key part in the experience by providing exceptional customer service to tenants while completing in-suite and common area maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the building team to perform various repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, appliance repairs and general duties related to maintenance;
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical rooms, identify issues, and coordinate trade support;
  • Assist in coordinating month-end turnovers of rental suites, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents;
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks;
  • Respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies promptly and effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and building.

What You Bring:

  • One (1) year of customer service experience, with experience in building maintenance or a related field being considered an asset;
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to the success of the community;
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, team members and external partners;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities, in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods;
  • Ability to work on the weekend and/or a holiday as required with month-end tasks;
  • Experience with completing minor repairs and maintenance tasks for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and knowledge of when to call in external support will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting will be considered an asset.
