    We are dedicated to providing residents with exceptional living experiences, and we’re looking for an experienced Rental Agent/Rental Administrator to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Rental Agent/Rental Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our apartment community. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the rental process for prospective tenants and ensure the satisfaction of our current residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of leasing and rental processes.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property tours, showcasing the apartments and amenities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective tenants, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
  • Process rental applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident interactions.
  • Manage resident inquiries and concerns, striving to create a positive living experience.
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, conduct unit inspections and coordinate work as necessary.
  • Prepare and issue tenant notices.
  • Provide administrative support to residential property managers.
  • Pursue postdated cheques and rental collections.
  • Prepare and issue all correspondence and follow-up where required.
  • Issue of reports.
  • Production and issuance of Tenant Protection Act forms and notices.
  • Direct legal actions in accordance with the TPA using outsource paralegal.
  • Receive tenant calls for service.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure the overall success of the apartment community.
  • Participate in District Realty Health and Safety Program.
  • Maintain current owner, tenant, trade, and supplier coordinates including tenant information sheets, property information sheets and on-call info with the message center on-call binder.
  • Managing “Bring Forward” filing system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
