Description:
Due to an influx of work opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading law firms in Cornwall and Devon as a Secretary in the Residential Property department.
In this newly created role you will work in our Residential Property Department and become a key member of our busy established team taking the client on their journey from the initial instruction stage to Post-Completion.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED:
- At least 2 years experience in a secretarial role or as a legal secretary, ideally in a property team
- Experience of customer contact with the public and business clients
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent IT and record keeping skills

HOURS
This is a full time position. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday however we welcome applications from candidates looking for alternative working arrangements.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide administration assistance including typing from digital dictation for our experienced lawyers, alongside others within the support team
- Deal with telephone calls for the Residential Property Team alongside the existing support team
- Become involved in work across the entirety of a property matter from inception to post completion, giving the opportunity to learn more about the property deals you are involved with and help see them through to completion
- Assist in file management tasks for specific lawyers within the team
