Description:

CARROLL INSTITUTE - THE ARCH RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY

We are currently seeking multiple Residential Technicians to join our team at The Arch. As a Residential Technician, you will work directly with residents to ensure their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and care for others. No experience in the field is necessary - thorough training provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the Mission and Vision of Carroll Institute.
  • Understand and maintain confidentiality as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
  • Be familiar with policies, procedures, fire regulations, health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise residents’ self-administration of any medication prescribed by a physician and document accurately.
  • Responsible for assigned clerical duties (typing, filing, etc.).
  • Keeping the Arch clean and orderly by supervising and working with residents as they complete their assigned duties.
  • Conduct rounds accounting for Arch residents and ensuring their safety.
  • Communicating appropriately with local referral sources and community agencies.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings.
  • Work closely with staff to establish and maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining good relations with civic, professional, governmental entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of sobriety if in recovery

Preferred Skills/Competencies:

  • Effective communication
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • De-escalation techniques
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Climb stairs and be on feet for an extended period of time

Hourly rate starts at $18.00 up to $23.49 per hour depending on experience.
