Resilience Intelligence Analyst

- Ensuring strong security and resilience governance for the whole organization
- Developing global security and resilience solutions and driving best practice
- Overseeing the effectiveness and guiding the implementation of security and resilience controls.
Within our division, Protection & Resilience is a global team that is tasked with preparing our organization to respond to, and recover from, any disruption, emergency or crisis situation whilst also finding opportunities to continuously and comprehensively strengthen security and build resilience so that we can protect our global operations, people, and reputation.
For this team we are looking for you: A Global Resilience Analyst who has a background in a relevant intelligence/resilience/security-related discipline to help drive our newly established Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC).Functionally reporting to the Global Head of Protection & Resilience, you will be responsible for strategic intelligence and incident/security monitoring activities from researching, analyzing, and evaluating strategic risks and threats, contextualizing for the purpose and needs of our organization, and reporting to our senior management and other relevant stakeholders.If you are ready to take on this responsibility, take up the challenge! Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Identify, monitor, and assess strategic risks and threats that could impact our organization.
- Research, interpret, analyse, and process data via internal and external sources, and contextualize intelligence for the purpose and needs of Allianz Technology.
- Draft and publish reports to senior managers and other key stakeholders to build situational awareness and enable sound decision-making with respect to ongoing and emerging situations
- Log and track incidents or potential incidents for crisis & incident management.
- Ensure the organization is ready to quicky respond to emerging or sudden situations via the latest available intelligence, and support crisis operations via this intelligence.
- Contribute to improving processes that enable rapid assessments and situational awareness of emerging / developing / actual situations through enhanced horizon scanning with respect to risk, security, and resilience.
- Support colleagues in operational security and incident monitoring and other required administrative activities.
- Assist in positioning the Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC) as the central hub for monitoring, preparing, and assisting the organisational preparedness and response to strategic threats, incidents, and crises.
- Ensure learning from internal and external events and incidents are fed into our internal protection & resilience programs.
- Assist in developing long-term data driven strategies that strengthen resilience.
- Contribute to strategies relating to risk, resilience, and security.
- If required, provide tactical and / or operational support to our crisis operations.
- Remain up to date on industry trends and best practice relating to risk, resilience, security and intelligence.
- Other related activities as required by the Global Head of Protection & Resilience.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant experience in two or more of the following areas: intelligence, security, crisis management, emergency management, disaster management, risk management, resilience, business continuity management, analysis, project management, governance, strategy, business administration, or any related field.
- University degree in a relevant discipline, such as disaster / emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, economics, or any related field.
- Ideally, experience in the use of industry-leading global threat monitoring tools.
- Solid analytical skills. Ability to contextualize and provide meaning to intelligence.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and work objectives.
- Excellent influencing, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, also in times of high pressure.
- Ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and filter large quantities of information.
- Familiarity with communication and presentation tools (sound knowledge and experience in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- Capability to build collaborative working relationships and ability to work in virtual, international, and complex team environments.
- Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
- International work experience (desirable but not essential).
